If used for power, copper-clad aluminum conductors will cause additional power consumption and lower voltages. The resistance of 100 meters is about 28 ohms. The high-conductivity copper network cable does not only contain copper-silver components, but is actually a copper-aluminum-silver alloy high-performance network cable. It is also commonly referred to as copper-clad silver. It has the characteristics of low resistance and long transmission distance. Compared with all copper and iron-aluminum network cables, the resistance is about 20 ohms for 100 meters and can transmit 120 meters, but the oxidation resistance is poor and the life is not long.

The copper-clad copper network cable refers to a layer of oxygen-free copper plated on the outside of the bronze, so it is also called a bronze network cable. This kind of network cable is generally ignored by everyone, and not many people understand it. The conductor of the bronze network cable belongs to secondary furnace copper and contains more impurities. The resistance of 100 meters is about 40Ω, and it can transmit about 80 meters. It has strong oxidation resistance and long service life.
The resistance of bronze is much higher than that of ordinary copper-plated aluminum and oxygen-free copper, so the effective propagation distance of copper-plated bronze is much less than that of copper-aluminum, but the physical properties of copper are still relatively stable and are not easy to oxidize. Therefore, the service life is relatively long, because the surface is coated with a layer of oxygen-free copper, and there is no difference on the surface, but with fire, the oxygen-free copper layer on the entire copper surface will soon melt away.
The usual 0.4 copper network cable can only reach 80 meters, 0.45 copper network cable can reach 90 meters, and 0.5 copper network cable can reach 100 meters.
铜包银网线 6.Copper covered silver network cable
The main material of copper-clad silver network cable is imported aluminum, which has a higher purity than copper-clad aluminum and high-conductivity aluminum network cable. The resistance of 100 meters is about 15Ω, and it can transmit 150-180 meters, but the resistance to oxygen is poor and the life is not long.
Because copper-clad silver can be transmitted far, we can generally use it in ADSL, computer rooms, supermarkets, warehouses, etc. Half of the network transmission is no problem.
Although the transmission distance of the high-conductivity aluminum network cable is not that long compared to the copper-clad silver network cable, it is not far behind. It can also be used in small and medium-sized areas such as supermarkets, warehouses, and homes.
Copper-clad silver network cable also contains a small amount of aluminum, and aluminum is easily oxidized. It will probably be oxidized in four or five years, so you must pay attention to this factor when choosing the amount.
